I applied to run this fanlisting because i was very impressed by the acting of Freddie Highmore, and by the respect and affection that the amazing Johnny Depp has for him. They shot two movies together, Marc Foster's "Finding Neverland" and Tim Burton's "charlie and the chocolate factory". Freddie says Johnny is his hero, and Johnny admits that Freddie is a freat actor and a great friend to him.

"He's a magic kid," says Johnny. "Freddie's all magic, all purity, all honesty. I refer to him as a kid because he was 10 years old when we did the film. He's 12 years old now and we're doing 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' together, but he is as good a pal as any I've got. He's someone I consider a great friend, and beyond that, a great actor. He's just a really good human being."

"I remember on the last day of the shoot,(of finding Neverland) being with the boys, and especially Freddie - my pal Freddie - we were sort of saying goodbye, see you later, and not able to look each other in the eye because you just start welling up."
