002 - W o r k E x p e r i e n c e

October 2008 - Present : Web Designer for the Stephen Lawrence Gallery website (as part of the University of Greenwich, located in QA077).
The task is that of creating a website from scratch of all the seasons of exhibitions at the Stephen Lawrence Art gallery, including pictures, videos, screencaps and a separate page for each exhibition, with its own style.
The pages are made in php and CSS stylesheets, with the aid of Dreamweaver and Photoshop CS.
Pay: £9.55 ph

February 2007 till October 2008: Leonidas (c/o Selfridges, 400 O xford Street, W1A 1AB London), Part Time Sales Assistant.
Tasks include assisting the customers and answering their questions, making up chocolate boxes and bags, opening and closing the store, cashing up, using the till, answering general questions about the store and providing high-quality customer service. I also had to attend and pass the test for the Selfridges inductions for managing the tills and food hygene training.
Pay: £8.12 ph
Reason for leaving: the shop closed.

25-26-27 June 2008 - IT Support and Teaching of Web Design (Photoshop and Dreamweaver on a Mac) to a group of 12 A Levels students who were doing a workshop at the University of Greenwich. Tasks included providing help in using any of the software, helping setting up their web pages by teaching them how to use Photoshop and Dreamweaver, and occasionally providing templates using HTML. This was done to individual students as well as groups in the final stages of the project.
Pay: £6.50 ph
Reason for leaving: the workshop only consisted of three days.

October 2007 - Steward for the Graduation Ceremony at the University of Greenwich (Old ROyal Naval College, Park Row, SE10 9LS Greenwich, London). Tasks included providing information and giving directions to visitors, helping the mayors and the special guests in the dressing process and during the ceremony and lunch afterwards, setting up the halls for the ceremony and keeping the visitors off the administration offices.
Reason for leaving: the graduation ceremony ended.
Pay: £8.00 ph

003 - O t h e r E x p e r i e n c e

March 2008 till Present : Given Italian lessons to students of the University of Greenwich. Helped them with the portfolio and developing conversational skills. Provided additional material with guidelines and grammar exercises. Also helped with reading and pronounciation. Pay rate: £10.00 to £15.00 per hour. (If you're interested in this, contact me here!)

2008 : Took part in the elections for the University of Greenwich Student Union and been elected as Greenwich SRC Officer for the year 2008/2009, as representative of the whole campus. Also, elected NUS Delegate and therefore took part in the 2008 annual NUS Conference in Blackpool in April 2008. Unpaid position.

2007 and 2008 : Been representative of the first and second year students of English, humanities at the University of Greenwich.
